Jean Monnet Chairs are teaching posts with a specialisation in European Union studies for university professors, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.They are an integral part of the higher education institution that concludes the grant decision and are inscribed in their institution's official academic activities. The duration isthree consecutive academic years.
TheJean Monnet Chair in European Health, Environmental and Food Safety Law (HEALTHY)is the first Chair ever awarded to the School of Law of the University of Salerno (Italy). The Chair's activities run from 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2019.The Chair holder is prof. Stefania Negri, associate professor of International Law at the Department of Legal Sciences.
